Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Lead to join our team at St. Clement's School. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring the school's mental health strategy, providing leadership and oversight to ensure the well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Monitor Mental Health Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive mental health strategy that aligns with the school's goals and objectives.
  • Provide Leadership and Oversight: Lead and manage a team of mental health professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services to students.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure the mental health needs of students are met.
  • Develop and Implement Programs: Design and implement programs to promote mental health and well-being among students, including workshops, training sessions, and support groups.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Programs: Regularly assess the effectiveness of mental health programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide Clinical Supervision: Offer clinical supervision to mental health professionals to ensure they are providing high-quality services to students.
  • Develop and Maintain Partnerships: Establish and maintain partnerships with community agencies and organizations to access resources and expertise that support the mental health needs of students.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Best Practices: Stay current with best practices in mental health and well-being, and apply this knowledge to inform the development and implementation of mental health programs.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a Relevant Field: A master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or counseling is required.
  • Experience in Mental Health Leadership: A minimum of 6 years of experience in mental health leadership, including experience in developing and implementing mental health strategies and programs.
  • Certifications and Designations: Certification as a mental health professional, such as a psychologist or social worker, is required.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for this role, as the successful candidate will be working with a team of mental health professionals and stakeholders.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities is essential for this role.
