Field Claims Adjuster

We're seeking a skilled Field Claims Adjuster to join our team. As a Field Claims Adjuster, you'll be at the forefront of helping people navigate complex claims and losses. You'll work closely with a diverse team of experts who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and manage complex claims and losses for personal and commercial lines of business.
- Assess and analyze policy wordings and damage to determine appropriate coverage.
- Negotiate with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims within your established authority scope.
- Collaborate with various teams, including appraisal, underwriting, and legal, to ensure seamless claim resolution.
- Manage costs efficiently and effectively.
- Stay up-to-date on insurance products, trends, and best practices in appraisal and investigation techniques.
- Hold a 5A Claims Adjuster Certificate.
- Have at least two years of experience as a property adjuster.
- Have a college diploma or equivalent work experience (an asset).
- Have a working knowledge of the law.
- Be an excellent communicator in both French and English.
- Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Be available to travel on short notice.
