About the Role
As a Human Resources Technician at Exo-s, you will be responsible for managing the workforce movement process on a weekly basis, in addition to providing support to the corporate payroll team. The work is primarily done on-site at our Richmond facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the movement of personnel according to collective agreement rules and all related activities (posting of positions, allocation of training, etc.).
- Support the operations team by allocating weekend overtime.
- Review employee time sheets for unionized employees.
- Ensure the payroll master is relieved for unionized employees' pay at the Richmond plant.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to training (training evidence, tax credits, Emploi-Qc subsidies, etc.) and maintain the skills matrix up-to-date.
- Track training evidence, document the skills matrix, and update training records (GET & IT).
- Participate in the training committee and follow up on related activities.
- Work closely with the executive union.
- Support the team during social events.
- Improve and document HR processes and work instructions.
Requirements
- Technical diploma in administration, combined with 3 to 5 years of experience in a field related to human resources management.
- Team-oriented, excellent listening and communication skills.
- Good relationships with colleagues.
- Dynamic, rigorous, creative, and organized.
- Good knowledge of training.
- Good adaptability, flexibility.
- Comfortable with computer tools (Office 365).
- Bonus:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of the UKG HR system.
