Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Riverside Family Dentistry in Ottawa. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality oral health services to patients of all ages.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess a strong passion for providing exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Your expertise in preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, and topical fluoride treatments, will enable you to make a positive impact on the oral health of our patients.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient. Your excellent communication skills and ability to educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices will be essential in establishing long-term relationships and promoting a culture of preventive care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality clinical preventative hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, and topical fluoride treatments
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and promote a culture of preventive care
- Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution
- Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
- Valid CPR certification
- Licence to work in Canada
