We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist and Microbiology Specialist to join our team at Cliniques Lacroix. As a key member of our laboratory services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of patient care through the development and implementation of new specialized techniques in microbiology.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Director in managing the activities of the medical biology services, including the supervision of medical technologists and the development of new techniques.
- Participate in the selection of new hires and contribute to the assessment of quality, organization, and staff development.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Head of Biochemistry-Hematology to ensure the maintenance and improvement of services.
- Supervise and participate in the drafting, development, revision, and updating of procedures, processes, and other documents.
- Ensure the monitoring of non-conformities and participate in the choice of technologies used.
- College diploma (DEC) in biomedical analysis technology from a recognized school.
- 5 years of experience in microbiology, with recognized management skills.
- Availability 24/7 for emergencies, according to a pre-established schedule.
- Membership in O.P.T.M.Q.
- Additional experience as a super user or pilot of computerized laboratory systems is an asset.
