Elevate Civil Engineering Consulting is seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB. This full-time hybrid role offers flexibility for remote work and provides opportunities to work on various civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct site investigations and soil analysis to inform geotechnical engineering and engineering geology decisions.
- Design foundations and develop geotechnical engineering solutions for mining projects, including tailings geotechnical and mining design.
- Perform dam safety inspections and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and junior staff to deliver projects and provide mentorship and guidance.
- Develop and implement geotechnical software tools to support project delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software tools and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Canadian Professional Designation or Engineer-In-Training Registration.
