This is a full-time hybrid role for a Geotechnical Engineer at Elevate Civil Engineering Consulting in Calgary, AB, with flexibility for some remote work. The Geotechnical Engineer will be responsible for site investigation, soil analysis, geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, and foundation design.
Qualifications
- Site Investigation and Soil analysis skills
- Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology expertise
- Foundation Design skills
- Experience in civil engineering projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in geotechnical software tools
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Canadian Professional Designation or Engineer-In-Training Registration
As a Civil Engineer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•Remote work as a Mid-Level Engineer for different clients.
•Project Management and mentorship of client junior staff.
•Scope of work will be mining projects such a tailings geotechnical, mining design and other assigned work.
•Additional scope of work includes dam safety work such as Dam Safety Inspections and Dam Safety Reviews.
•Opportunities with new clients and to expand into different projects.
