Job Description

Omega Solutions is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Specialist to join our team. As a DevOps Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our digital services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automation and Deployment: Design and implement automation scripts, tools, and procedures for operations to minimize downtime and ensure efficient deployment and maintenance.
  • Production Environment Management: Manage configuration and credentials for the production environment, plan and manage maintenance activities, and oversee database upgrades and migrations, backups, and recoveries.
  • Operations Support: Provide operations support for the implementation and enhancement of digital services, including creating templates and patterns for application deployments and CI/CD pipelines, and developing scripts and tools to automate environment setup for development and testing.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Create tools, scripts, and processes to enable application teams to have better observability of the application through monitoring and telemetry tools.
  • Best Practices Adoption: Support delivery teams in adopting best practices by providing operations support for early and frequent integration testing, security scans, system testing, and performance and load testing, as well as early and frequent delivery to end-users in limited availability launches (Alphas and Betas).
Requirements
  • Proven experience in DevOps and cloud operations.
  • Strong understanding of automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Experience with configuration management and database management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
