Job Description

**About the Role**

TEEMA is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Consultant to join our team. As a DevOps Consultant, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment processes, and providing operational support to ensure minimal downtime during deployment and maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, high-quality releases.
  • Automation Strategies: Develop and implement automation strategies for deployment processes, focusing on limited downtime and high availability.
  • Operational Support: Provide ongoing operational support, troubleshooting issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with engineering teams to design and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • DevOps Best Practices: Advocate and implement DevOps best practices, ensuring efficiency, security, and scalability across the pipeline and production environments.
  • Streamlined Workflows: Partner with developers, QA, and IT operations to streamline workflows and enhance development velocity.

**Required Qualifications**

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure role, preferably in a consulting capacity.
  • CI/CD Tools: Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, Travis CI, etc.).
  • Automation Frameworks: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and deployment tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.).
  • Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Zero-Downtime Deployments: Proven experience in designing and implementing zero-downtime deployments for high-availability systems.
  • Scripting Skills: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or other relevant languages).
  • Monitoring and Logging Tools: Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, etc.).
  • Operational Support: Ability to provide operational support for production systems and troubleshoot critical infrastructure issues.
  • Security Best Practices: Familiarity with security best practices in a cloud or hybrid environment.
