Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
  • Review account reconciliations and analysis, and journal entry approval
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors as required
  • Administer performance of certain controls over the financial reporting processes and assist in the design, review, and evaluation of internal controls
  • Analyze and investigate variances for various balance sheet accounts
  • Reconcile sub-ledger to ledger for Tax Modules and Recreation module to general ledger
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of general accounting experience
  • CPA, ACCA, FCCA designation or close to attaining
  • Efficient in Great Plains or large ERP systems
  • Month end closings experience highly desired
  • Experience in Municipal or Non-for-Profit companies ideal
