  • Preparation and Production: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Special Orders: Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure high-quality products and a clean environment.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Operate machinery and maintain equipment to ensure efficient production.
  • Organizational Skills: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure timely production and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
