About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary range of $1,500,001 - $4,000,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations to ensure accurate job postings
- Plan, develop, and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage contracts and agreements with external vendors and service providers
- Lead payroll administration and oversee the preparation of reports
- Advise senior management on HR-related matters and respond to employee questions and complaints
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants to resolve workplace issues
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in human resources management, preferably in a retail or wholesale setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with MS Outlook, Windows, and Word
You will be working in a fast-paced retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre environment, with a large caseload and workload. You will need to be flexible, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
