Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario Inc.

Job Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
