At Ontario Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Permanent position
- 30 to 35 hours per week
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
