Dreams Construction Inc. - Carpenter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Dreams Construction Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts and measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Supervise and instruct apprentices as needed
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors
  • Willingness to relocate and travel regularly
Work Environment:

The Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a focus on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
