About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kaipings Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service and prepare high-quality food.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring that we are operating within our budget.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that our customers receive a positive dining experience, from the moment they enter our restaurant to the moment they leave.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and labor costs.
    • Manage our inventory, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies and equipment to operate efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Work under pressure.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
