Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D'Theatre Restaurant and Pub. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Develop and implement effective training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement corrective actions to address any quality control issues.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that they are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is acted upon, improving the overall customer experience.
  • Security and Safety
    • Criminal record check for all food service staff.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Physically demanding, requiring manual dexterity and stamina.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Will train.
    Work Environment
    • Permanent position.
    • 40 hours per week.
    • Work Language: English.
