About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at D'Theatre Restaurant and Pub. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing insights for future improvements.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that customers receive their orders efficiently.
