Job Title: Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PL Constructions & Excavations. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures.
  • Install and fit windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience working in confined spaces, dusty environments, and various locations.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
Work Environment:

Our team works in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
