Proto Construction is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts and designs in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
- Supervise and lead other workers.
- Estimate costs and materials for projects.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the trade.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 35 hours per week.
