We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Emerald Building & Construction Ltd.
Job Summary:The Carpenter will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Estimating costs and materials
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience
- Ability to work in various locations, including commercial and residential settings
The Carpenter will work in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with a team to meet project deadlines.
