Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions and complex medical needs in intensive care settings. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients, including monitoring vital signs, interpreting diagnostic tests, and evaluating medical histories.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, addressing the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide continuous monitoring and support for patients using advanced medical equipment and technology.
- Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and care processes, offering emotional support during challenging times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and make timely decisions regarding patient management.
- Stay current with advancements in critical care practices, protocols, and technology to enhance patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; an Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) may be accepted with relevant experience.
- Active nursing license in the relevant state or region.
- Previous experience in critical care nursing or in a similar high-acuity environment is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills to respond effectively to emergencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) or similar credentials preferred.
