Lead Data Engineer

Tiger Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data systems using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Cosmos DB.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, reliable, and maintainable ETL code using Python and Azure Functions.
  • Work with unstructured datasets and develop strong analytic skills to detect data anomalies and ensure data quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouses and data stores for analytics consumption.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices to ensure our data systems are optimized for performance and scalability.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Python and experience writing Azure functions.
  • Experience using Event Hub for data integrations.
  • Hands-on expertise in implementing analytical data stores in Azure platform using ADLS/Azure data factory/Data Bricks and Cosmos DB.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and data analysis skills for data anomaly detection and data quality assurance.
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Valid work authorization to work in Canada.
