Lead Data Engineer

Tiger Analytics is seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our team in Canada. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data systems using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Cosmos DB.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance, reliable, and maintainable ETL code using Python and Azure Functions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data governance and data quality assurance processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Python, Azure Functions, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
