About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in managing the store's operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a high-performing team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Drive sales growth through effective visual merchandising, product knowledge, and customer engagement
- Maximize store profitability by controlling costs, optimizing stock levels, and improving operational efficiency
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement store plans, set goals, and measure performance
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Proven retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced outdoor or fashion environment
- Excellent leadership and people skills, with a track record of developing and motivating teams
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
- A passion for selling, customer engagement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Commercial awareness, with a focus on driving sales growth and maximizing profitability
