Job Summary

Sanmina is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead the development of advanced optical components and sub-systems. As a key member of our multidisciplinary development team, you will be responsible for providing project leadership, technical guidance, and customer management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project leadership and technical guidance to a multidisciplinary development team to design, develop, and manufacture optoelectronic and microelectronic products.
  • Support business development and engineering teams in creating and communicating customer program proposals.
  • Manage customer relationships, including schedule and task list development, communication protocols, and reporting procedures.
  • Define and execute product development programs through our Product Development Process, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and commercial terms.
  • Oversee prototype and pre-production builds, including supply chain management and qualification, ramp planning, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Drive on-time and on-budget execution of defined programs, motivating project teams and ensuring efficient NPI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of direct and relevant experience in Program Management and/or Product Development.
  • Understanding of the product development process, from concept design to volume manufacturing, including qualification.
  • Experience transferring complex products and processes into manufacturing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused and problem-solving approach.
