Executive Director at Palliative Manitoba

Palliative Manitoba is dedicated to easing the suffering of individuals facing death, as well as supporting caregivers and the bereaved through compassionate services and educational resources.

The organization envisions a province where everyone can access the information and support they need during times of grief or end-of-life transitions.

  • This leadership role will guide the organization toward achieving its mission of providing compassionate support to individuals facing death, grief, and caregiving challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the organization's strategic plan in alignment with the mission, vision, and values.
  • Serving as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and the organization, ensuring transparent communication and effective governance.
  • Overseeing the planning, delivery, and evaluation of all programs and services to ensure they meet community needs and align with organizational goals.
  • Representing Palliative Manitoba in public forums, media, and with stakeholders at the local and provincial levels.
Requirements:
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in non-profit and/or healthcare, and/or fund development are considered a strong asset.

A competitive salary range for this position is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Summit Search Group is committed to Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion.
