Job Title: Construction Manager - Environmental Projects

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee environmental projects in Vancouver, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Safety Management: Lead the implementation of safety policies and procedures, ensuring health and safety is considered in all activities.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with the safety department, project manager, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Quality Control: Implement site-specific work plans, monitor progress, and audit work quality to ensure accuracy and quality of work completed.
  • Communication: Provide daily updates to the project manager and maintain a detailed project schedule.

Requirements:

  • Education: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, Civil/Environmental Engineering Degree or relevant field experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Civil/Environmental industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with a strong understanding of WorkSafe BC rules and regulations.
