About the Role:
  • This is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate and manage subcontractor activities to ensure seamless project execution.
  2. Plan and organize daily operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  3. Prepare and submit comprehensive construction project budget estimates.
  4. Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers as needed.
  5. Develop and implement project schedules and milestones, monitoring progress closely.
  6. Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  7. Establish and maintain quality control policies and procedures.
  8. Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings.
  9. Manage project budgets effectively.
  10. DIRECT THE PURCHASE OF BUILDING MATERIALS AND LAND ACQUISITIONS AS NEEDED.
  11. Analyze data and information to inform project decisions.
  12. Prepare detailed reports on project progress.
  13. Resolve conflict situations in a fair and professional manner.
  14. Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, engineering).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior construction operations or management role.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project.
  • Industrial, commercial, and institutional construction experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Organized and efficient in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
