Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Joayo Therapy.

About the Role

As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, assessing their needs, and developing personalized treatment plans. You will also be required to maintain accurate records of treatments and provide education to clients on self-care techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer massage techniques to clients, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy.
  • Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress.
  • Provide education to clients on self-care techniques and home care instructions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
Requirements
  • Registration with a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or rehabilitation center.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
