Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to join our team at Joayo Therapy. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, assessing their needs, and providing personalized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and hydrotherapy
  • Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests
  • Propose treatment plans and explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients
  • Maintain records of treatments given
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques
Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
