Job Title: Registered Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Joayo Therapy.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering massage techniques, assessing clients, and providing treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, and trigger point therapy.
  • Assess clients through range of motion and muscle tests, and propose treatment plans.
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients.
  • Maintain records of treatments given.
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques.
Requirements
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
