Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Digital Engineering Architect to join our team in developing and proposing innovative system architectures and design principles that integrate DFX methodologies to ensure the trustworthiness of AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop systems models, reliability models, and safety models for AI systems, utilizing exceptional problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and develop solutions.
- Lead and conduct pioneering research in the architecture and design of AI systems, emphasizing DFX principles to enhance trustworthiness attributes like safety, reliability, and availability.
- Drive continuous improvement in Design for X (DFX) process and methodologies.
- Document system designs, architectures, and development processes clearly and comprehensively.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in AI, assured autonomy, and systems engineering, applying this knowledge to enhance system architecture and design.
- Work cross-functionally to set the broader strategy and roadmap.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members to support their growth and development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a relevant technical field.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system architecture and design, with a focus on AI systems.
- Strong expertise in DFX principles, including safety, reliability, and security in AI systems.
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience with ML/DL, LLMs, multimodal foundation models, or large generative models.
