Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled general surgeon to join our team at Richmond Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful contribution to the health and well-being of our community.
About the RoleWe are looking for a general surgeon with expertise in bariatric surgery and breast oncology. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in these areas and a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform general surgical procedures with a focus on bariatric surgery and breast oncology
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Provide expert advice and guidance to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Fellowship training in bariatric surgery and breast oncology
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) registration
- Certification from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
Vancouver Coastal Health offers a competitive compensation package, including:
- A base salary of $$$250,000 - $300,000 per year
