Job Title: Security Dispatch Coordinator

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls, document details, and escalate to proper resources as needed.
  • Dispatch security personnel, cleaning services, and building operators to calls as required.
  • Provide detailed documentation of activity in event logs.
  • Dispatch emergency services (EPS, EMS, EFD) as needed.
  • Monitor CCTV and provide support to security agents responding to calls.
  • Oversee facility monitoring systems and escalate when equipment signals an alarm.
  • Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on events affecting their property.
  • Manage key access through our key control system for employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate contractor sign-in and sign-out processes, including equipment sign-out as needed.
  • Complete reports and provide information related to site-owned security equipment.
  • Contact tenants for critical property concerns related to their tenant space.
  • Obtain and file maintenance inspections and equipment audits from team members.

Qualifications:

  • Prior dispatch experience (required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for contractor and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency with multiple computer software programs.
  • Ability to prioritize work tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Objectivity and sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
  • Willingness to learn and retain large amounts of information.
  • Crisis management skills and ability to work under stressful conditions.
  • Above-average observation skills.
  • Ability to follow policy and procedure.
  • Dependability and professionalism in all job functions.
