Security Scheduling Coordinator

Under the general direction of the Regional Manager, Scheduling, this key position is responsible for the management and continued development of the Paladin Security Group scheduling program and associated processes. This position ensures a lifeline between Paladin and its varied customers in ensuring that the number(s) of required static security officers matches their contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Create, update and modify work schedules for Security Officers within Paladin Security.
- Work within a team-oriented environment to ensure that all scheduling needs are met.
- Perform various administrative duties as needed.
- Fill cancellations and openings in the daily schedule.
- Coordinate with Client Service Managers to ensure there is an adequate amount of employees to fill open shifts.
- Ensure schedules are planned to eliminate unnecessary overtime.
- Provide information to staff as requested regarding additional shifts, vacation requests, last-minute book-offs, and shift availability.
- Educational background or a commensurate program with complimentary experience.
- Experience in scheduling is preferred but not required.
- Ability to direct, mentor, and provide an exceptional level of service to both internal and external customers.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.
- Must have strong leadership, organization, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Creative ability to foster new and innovative ways to perform and succeed.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and flexibility in time allocation.
- Must have experience using MS Word, internet, and e-mail, as well as skills in InTime Scheduling Engine, MS Excel, MS Office, and other standard computer applications.
