Warehouse Worker Job Description
Centre for Skills Development is looking for a skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Main Tasks:
- Manage and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Supervise warehouse staff and assign tasks to ensure productivity goals are met.
- Implement inventory control procedures to minimize losses and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
- Oversee the maintenance and scheduling of company vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Ensure the warehouse is well-organized, clean, and operates efficiently to support daily business operations.
- Manage and execute snow removal around the warehouse and operational areas to ensure safe access during winter months.
- Enforce safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure work environment for employees.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in fleet maintenance and logistics coordination is an asset.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Certification(s) in applicable material handling equipment is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems and quality systems.
- Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams).
