Estimated Salary Range$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe IT Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of Island Health's computer systems, networks, and related equipment. This includes:
- Coordinating with stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions that meet business needs;
- Maintaining and upgrading hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance;
- Providing technical support and training to staff members;
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards;
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field;
- Three years of recent experience in IT infrastructure management or a related field;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to write in a variety of programming languages;
- The ability to organize work effectively;
- The physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
