Installation Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Installation Technician to join our team at BCLTD. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons and other workers with various tasks, including holding stakes during surveying activities and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.



Work Environment

  • You will work outdoors, at heights, in noisy, dusty, hot, and wet/damp environments.
  • You may also work in underground settings and urban, rural, and remote locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Hold stakes during surveying activities.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.


Requirements

  • You must have a valid driver's licence and be physically demanding.
  • You will be working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • You must be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • You must have excellent oral communication skills and be a team player.
  • You must be flexible and have efficient interpersonal skills.
  • You must be dependable and have excellent personal suitability.


Work Details

  • Work under pressure in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work 35 hours per week.
  • Permanent employment opportunity.
  • Work experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Language of work: English.
