Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform installation or service work as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
  • Record productive time versus travel time.
  • Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with the service program designated for specific customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used at each job.
  • Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards as notified through published communications.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in a proper manner.
  • Present a neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicles and keep an inventory log.
  • Test equipment before leaving the job site and perform a safety check.
  • Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
  • Assist and instruct others in installation/service methods.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid state driver's license without restrictions.
  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Sitting while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours but not limited to.
  • Standing on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours but not limited to.
  • Stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, and twisting spine occasionally.
  • Vision not limited to near, far, or colors.
  • Ability to work in various climates.
  • Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Associate's degree in a related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field.
  • Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, and AAADM certification.
