Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team at BCLTD. As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the installation of telecommunications equipment, including holding stakes during surveying activities and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed, including cleaning machines and immediate work areas.
  • Work in a variety of locations, including urban, rural, and remote areas, and be able to adapt to changing work environments.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including at heights, in various weather conditions, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
