About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Specialist to join our team in Red Deer. As an Investment Specialist, you will work closely with clients to provide personalized investment advice and comprehensive planning support to help them achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build lasting connections with existing clients and provide investment planning advice to support their financial success.
  • Facilitate new client relationships by participating in business development activities within the community of banking centres.
  • Collaborate with Banking Centre teams to enhance existing relationships and provide clients with personalized investment advice.
  • Deeply understand your local market and potential client base, working with other members of the banking centre team to build a sales plan that will convert leads into deeper relationships with CIBC clients.
  • Use your strong relationship building and networking skills to build connections, generate opportunities, and deliver bottom line results.

Requirements
  • You must be legally eligible to work at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.
  • You need to be certified as a Mutual Funds License holder and have current accreditation and good standing.
  • You will be required to complete the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC) certification within your first year in the job.
