Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to join our team at Healing Hearts Care In Home Services Inc. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to seniors in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding position that requires lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. You will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Additionally, you may be required to perform light housekeeping tasks and prepare meals. Your primary focus will be on providing emotional support and companionship to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Accompany clients on outdoor recreational activities, as needed
  • Transport clients in wheelchair or stretcher, as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Client-focused and dependable
  • Physically demanding work environment
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working on-site in clients' homes. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are not required but are considered assets. The work environment is fast-paced, with frequent changes in priorities. You must be flexible and able to adapt to new situations quickly.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
