Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Assistant to join our team at Dual Fabrication & Welding Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in the fabrication and welding process, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to achieve optimal results.
  • Sort and categorize metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials for efficient processing.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Clean and maintain machines and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish, meeting quality standards.
  • Read and interpret work orders, understanding production requirements and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience in metal fabrication and welding is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production demands.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring quality and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication skills, working effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials, adhering to safety guidelines.
