Position Overview

As a Metal Fabrication Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our welding operations at Dual Fabrication & Welding Ltd.. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that ensure the efficiency and quality of our metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Utilize metal cleaning machinery to eliminate excess welds, rust, and other contaminants from metal surfaces.
  • Cleaning Processes: Immerse metal components in appropriate cleaning solutions to maintain product integrity.
  • Material Handling: Sort and organize metal sheets, scrap, and other materials effectively.
  • Metal Finishing: Grind or chip away excess metal using hand tools to achieve desired specifications.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness of machines and immediate workspaces.
  • Logistics Support: Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles.
  • Polishing: Polish metal products to achieve a high-quality mirror finish.
  • Documentation: Read and interpret work orders to understand project requirements.
Equipment and Machinery

Experience with lifting devices is essential for this role.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: English is the primary working language.
