Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying data solutions that support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Data Solution Development
  • Design and develop complex data solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  • Build and operationalize data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Team Leadership
  • Lead a team of data engineers to design, build, and deploy data solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior data engineers.
Problem-Solving
  • Analyze complex data problems and develop creative solutions to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-related issues.
  • Develop and implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Communication
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation to support data solutions.
  • Present data insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.

Requirements

  1. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related field.
Skills
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience with data engineering tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or AWS Glue.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and quality processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
