We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Assistant to join our team at MJT Management Ltd. in providing exceptional care to our residents in a nursing home setting.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work 37.5 hours per week, enjoying a healthy work-life balance.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. This includes:

  • Bathing, dressing, and grooming patients;
  • Weighing, lifting, turning, and positioning patients;
  • Supplying and emptying bed pans;
  • Serving meal trays and feeding patients;
  • Making beds and maintaining patient rooms;
  • Transporting patients in a wheelchair or stretcher.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Caregiver Assistant will also be required to maintain accurate records of patient care, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience in a related field, although not essential;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure;
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
