Sewer Infrastructure Specialist

Port Perry, Canada GFL Environmental Full time

GFL Environmental is seeking a Sewer Infrastructure Specialist to provide innovative methods of cleaning, inspection, and trenchless rehabilitation of underground pipes. Our clients range from residential homeowners to large construction and engineering companies and municipalities throughout Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sewer lining of underground infrastructure
  • Maintain trucks and equipment to ensure efficient operation
  • Operate required equipment, including compressors and other machinery as needed
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers, contractors, and municipal inspectors
  • Comply with and follow company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in one or more of the following: CIPP Lining, UV Lining, Fold and Form Lining, Boiler Operation
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • DZ an asset
  • NASSCO PACP Certification an asset
  • Confined Space Experience
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Flexibility and confidentiality
  • Highly driven, focused, and self-motivated

Working Conditions:

  • Weekday travel in company vehicle up to 30%
