Job Title: Field Service Technician

Adecco Canada is currently seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in the Calgary and Southern Alberta region. Our client is a leading provider of innovative medical imaging solutions, and we are looking for a motivated individual to support their diagnostic imaging equipment.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site support for the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical imaging diagnostic systems. The successful candidate will work closely with our client's Regional Service Manager to ensure exceptional operation and support for customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and calibrate new equipment in hospitals and clinics
  • Provide field service support for commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Monitor and maintain equipment safety and performance levels
  • Meet customer expectations for quality of service and communication
  • Complete documentation related to products, test reports, and service records
  • Travel to hospitals and clinics to carry out planned and unplanned service activities
  • Effectively manage time and assigned projects
  • Support the policies, procedures, and practices of our client
  • Be on-call on a rotating basis to respond to customers outside of business hours
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • 3+ years of experience with diagnostic imaging equipment, preferably in a hospital/medical setting
  • Modality experience, including Radiographic, Radiographic/Fluoroscopic, Mammography, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine
  • Siemens or Philips Diagnostic Imaging equipment experience
  • College diploma in electronics, biomedical engineering, or electromechanics, or a relevant field of study
  • X-Ray, Breast Imaging, and ultrasound experience an asset
  • Good working knowledge of computer systems, Windows operating system, and networks
  • Excellent command of English, both orally and in writing
