We are seeking a Data Governance Supervisor to join our team at RSM, a leading provider of professional services to the middle market globally. As a Data Governance Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing guidance on the implementation of a data governance framework, overseeing master data management implementations, and utilizing business process and technology to drive data governance workflows.

About the Role:

  • Key Responsibilities: Implement an enterprise-wide data governance framework, manage data governance organization roles, serve as a liaison between functional and IT data owners, develop and maintain a data dictionary and glossary, create data visibility through analytics dashboards, and develop and monitor processes to track data requests.
  • Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain a data inventory and reconciliation processes to ensure data consistency and reliability.
  • Provide thought leadership and support executive decision making around the use of data, setting enterprise standards, and enforcing data governance policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Science.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in the professional services industry, with 5+ years of experience working with data management practices around data quality, data integration, master data management, and metadata management.
  • Skills: Knowledge of data governance frameworks, hands-on experience with data governance tools, experience with implementing data modeling concepts and semantic layers, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
